Woman Gathered Her Fallen Hair Strands To Make Hair Extension

A woman was able to make her own hair extension by collecting the hair that had fallen out in past one year. When the woman took it to Twitter, she easily managed to get a flood of responses and likes which crossed more than 21 million views. The video was a documentary on her hair adventure and people were absolutely taken aback. After knowing the fact that a woman can lose her 40-200 hair strands per day, the woman estimated that how much hair she could lose in a year.

The result was shaking and it came out to be 36,600 hair strands. After knowing this, the woman challenged herself of gathering all the fallen hair strands that she would find. She started the challenge 1 year ago and from then she was able to gather enough hair strands that she could make her own hair extension. Every time she found or spotted a fallen hair whether it was in the shower, on the floor or on her clothes, she would make sure that she picked up those hair strands and left no stone unturned.

After accumulating the hair strands, the woman would keep them in a plastic resealable bag until they’re too full to fill anymore. Following this, she would stick the collected hair strand one by one to a strip of double-sided tape. The woman illustrated how to put the ‘Do it Yourself extensions’ into a ponytail. However, the process proved to be quite difficult as the tape on the ponytail weighed down the hair. After posting the video, there were mixed emotions amongst people.

For some people, it was difficult to understand why she was collecting the hair. On the other hand, there were some people who were absolutely knocked out and perhaps they were convinced to try it out for themselves. People comments varied from person to person and one of them commented in a confused manner about the use of such extension. The other commenter found it useful and thought to donate it to someone in the future.

The other commented in a mocking manner where he asked people to tell them they found the video monotonous without actually telling him that they were bored. And lastly, the fourth one asked the lady to make a wig instead.
