Woman Turned Around Bland House With A Simple Paint Job

Ellie Rees, from Teesside, painted the door, windows, and walls. She posted about her new modern pad in a Facebook group Mrs. Hinch Made Me Do It. In her message on the group, she said she was sure that there could not be a better Before & After transformation. She added that if one thought about how the house looked at the beginning, they could achieve a lot when they were forced to stay in the house.

Ellie the talented social media expert said she painted the house herself and her next target would be the garden. She said that her neighbors were very pleased with her fixing the house. She added that her neighbors said, “Ours is the only rendered house in the estate so does stand out a bit.”The DIY job done by her not only improved the look of the house but the estate agent said it added thousands to the value of the house. Surprisingly, this DIY job was only a $250 expense.

Ellie went emotional in her Instagram post. She said how she transformed the look of the house. She first jet washed the door, then put some tape on the edges and used grey Frenchic AI Fresco paint, bought a few plants from Home Bargains, and put them in B&M pots. The next task was to do the windows before doing the wall with white using Dulux paint. To finish things in style she included white stones from B&Q and lights for at night.

Many people were impressed by Ellie’s efforts. One of the users said that they loved how stunning the house looked, something different. Another said “Wow what a difference a fresh bit of paint makes!! You’ve done bloody amazing for doing this yourself! Well done.” Ellie humbly thanked everyone and was pleased by everyone’s love.
