Woman Has Grown Her Hair To 6ft Long And Now She’s A Real-Life Rapunzel

Thirty years of hard work has brought a woman the result she had been waiting for and made her the real-life Rapunzel. Alena Kravchenko, a business owner from Odesa, Ukraine, had been patiently waiting to get long hair, and finally, her efforts have paid off. Once her mother told her how good it is for a woman to have long hair and she was inspired to be the one like her mom told.

Now, Alena being 35-years-old has got the reward she had been working for since the age of five. Although taking care of 1.98m long natural hair isn’t an easy task, the miseries due to her long hair are still a few and can be overlooked based on the ecstasy and attention she gets. Her haircare routine includes washing it once a week for half an hour and she also avoids combing her hair when it’s wet to prevent it from getting damaged. Moreover, she finds drying hair naturally better than applying heat.

Her gorgeous hair has helped her rack up more than 57,000 followers on her Instagram handle, @alenuwka_longhair. She got her hair cut short at the age of five and it was that moment when she decided not to go to any hairdresser again. Her mom used to tell her that women should have long hair and this single thought has been an influence to focus on her goal for three decades. She also has a bit of advice for women to get gorgeous hair like her.

“In order for the volume of my hair to be long as well as well-groomed, I am very careful with my haircare. I use natural masks, a selection of professional cosmetics, rinse my hair in herbs, and do head massages regularly,” says Alena. Now, her hair has exceeded her height and this was what Alena had been waiting for. It’s easy for her to be different from the crowd and being compared to a princess makes her feel honored.

She’s now well-known in the city and her hair is always adored for its length and rare golden color. People are astounded to perceive that Alena’s hair is real and even wish to get some pictures with her. People more often react positively. She adds, “There are no particular inconveniences in having hair this long but if I let my hair down, I step on it, this is the only uncomfortable moment. I try to wear my hair in a high ponytail so that the hair does not touch the ground.”

She admits that desire and inspiration are the two things that helped her grow them with time and any woman can achieve the same results if they have such strong will. It also shows us well that relishing the fruit of success would be better in some years and not months.
