Bridesmaid Walked Out Of The Wedding After Hearing Bride’s Harsh Comments

In a post on Reddit, she wrote that while she was staying at a hotel a day before her friend’s big day, she eavesdropped on the bride-to-be and another woman bad-mouthing about her. As the bridesmaid had gotten married few weeks before the wedding of the bride, she was claiming that the woman had stolen her thunder and was humiliating the non-traditional day the other woman had had.

After hearing how inhuman the bride was being about her, the woman decided that she no longer wanted to be involved in the wedding, and at the crack of dawn, she packed her stuff and left. The post said that she got married six weeks ago. Her wedding was a crowd-puller. She had very non-traditional stuff. Her dress was black while her husband wore a white suit. Also, she had six flower kids (two girls, four boys) and her sister-in-law was the ring bearer.

No one had betrayed her. The bride’s and the groom’s parties included both men and women. There were two maids of honor as the woman’s husband’s best friend was also a girl. She had bridesmaids and bridesmen, her husband had groomsmaids and groomsmen. Everyone loved how they did their wedding.

She further added that she got married on her Grandparent’ property and the flowers by which they decorated the place were also given by them. She had her clothing line, so she designed her dress herself. Even the bridesmaids’ and groomsmaids’ dresses and all the clothes were made by her business (men’s too) which saved a lot of money.

Her friend got married after her. Both were supposed to be each other’s bridesmaids. The bride’s wedding budget was a lot. She paid for 1/4th of her wedding and her share was double of what the woman would have paid for the venue, decoration, and all the clothes in retail.

The woman continued saying that the night before the wedding, all the bridesmaids were together in a bridal suite enjoying the spa night. After it was over and everyone was going to sleep while she was going to the washroom, she unintentionally overheard the conversation that was going on between the bride and her maid of honor.

The bride was speaking ill about the woman and saying that how her wedding was inexpensive but still everyone liked it and that she was the center of public attention by organizing such an unconventional one when the bride knew that her dream wedding was more traditional.

The bride cursed her a lot. At that point, the woman said that she changed her mind and went back to the room, packed her stuff, and left. She wrote a note along with a ribbon kind of a thing which she gave the girls when she asked them to be her bridesmaid. In the note, she wrote that the bride could stick this up where the sun doesn’t shine.

The woman’s action spoiled her wedding as she was one bridesmaid less than the groomsmen. Adding fuel to the fire, she didn’t even leave the bridesmaid dress and she wasn’t able to find a replacement.
