93-Year-Old Former Taxi Driver Played Racing Games On YouTube During Lockdown

Videos were posted on YouTube by the 93-year-old man’s grandson where one can see this young at heart man trying his hand at the games. And this Japanese grandfather is nothing but pro at classic racing sim games.

The 93-year-old, petrol head had owned all sorts of classic Japanese models over the years. He sold his Mazda Savannah RX7 20 years ago and his grandson set him up on a virtual version of the same car on his first go on the racing game. And this Japanese grandfather has not limited himself to one car.

Kotaku is trying his hands on all sorts of cars. He has taken a whole host of classic sports cars, from Lamborghinis to Ferraris, to iconic domestic models like the Nissan GTR. There is no doubt that he is having the best time of his life.

A person who has driven all his life gets to do the same is surely the happiest. According to his grandson, Kotaku, his grandfather used to make his ends meet by driving taxi around the streets of Tokyo. Later he drove a garbage truck on the same streets for around twenty years until his retirement.

After realizing that his grandfather was enjoying his new hobby the grandson got him a sweet new upgraded set up. The new setup is with a giant flatscreen monitor. The new screen has now replaced the old school laptop that the 93-year-old man was using. And he is happy with all the updates and new gadgets.

And the 93-year-old man’s videos on YouTube are a big hit. His grandson is received loads of massages every day for more content.
